Two auxiliary titanium electrodes deposited on the insulator tip enable
simultaneous flashover of two surface sparks & one air spark by a single
impulse of ignition system. Each spark has the chance to jump around full
circumference of auxiliary electrode (360°). The spark gap protrudes deep
into combustion chamber and improves initial flame front propagation.
A number of sparks and sufficient distance between them decrease
probability of incomplete ignition of mixture in combustion chamber
and increase flame propagation rate and engine power.
