A LITTLE BACKGROUND INFO ON THE TRE...
The TRE is a device that allows better throttle response
in the first four gears on all of Suzuki's EFI sportbikes.
What Suzuki did was make a SEPARATE ignition map
for each gear. This has been done for safety &/or
emissions reasons... However, it limits the power
& smoothness of your bike in the first 1/2 turn
of the throttle in gears 1 through 4.
They were clever in the design of this timing retarder:
it still allows full timing at full throttle. As you shift up
through the gears, the amount of throttle needed to
access the advanced curve decreases, until you get to
5th: then it's gone. You have nice, smooth operation.

STANDARD TRE & THE AUTOMATIC TRE??

and requires no adjustments to idle speed or
fuel mixture to maintain smooth idle quality!

Installation is easy, as this is a direct OEM plug in unit & can
be installed in less than 5 mins, no cutting or splicing required.
The TRE has no effect at full throttle. It does have an effect at throttle openings
up to 1/2 in gears 1 through 4 at ANY rpm. It will disable the speed limiter on
the GSXR1000 and GSX1300R. The TRE does NOT affect full throttle power.
This has been verified on the dyno and on road under controlled conditions.
The TRE is designed for "race use only".
